Writer, Director, and owner of HellStorm Productions has been writing movies in her head since she was eight years old. Bird is her directorial debut and her first screenplay, which she first drafted in Fall 2000. Her idol is M. Night Shamylan because "he writes, directs, and appears in all his films, and people pay him to do it!" She also admires the work of Ridley Scott, Ron Howard, and Stanley Kubrick.
"I want to thank my family - Mom, Dad, Nate, and his girlfriend Allison. You guys have been so wonderful; this production would not have been possible without you. Thanks to John and Jake; you guys have helped make a dream come true. Many more to come! Dr. James Lawrence for teaching me about film and helping me see I was a writer and film maker not a psychologist. I'm forever in your debt. Tuck and Jordan for not coming to NC - I got what I needed in the end and I think you guys did too. Friends always. Tim for being a trooper (prima donna!), and his sister Amy for sending me her brother. Everyone else who has supported me in this and life. There are far too many to list. Thanks for making the dream reality!"

"I want to thank my wife, Jill, and my kids, Matthew, Emily, and Abigail, for supporting me in all my endeavors, even when it means I have to spend time away from home. I'm grateful to be missed. My folks, as well, have supported me through the years. I'm also blessed with great friends, both old and new, who give freely of their awesome talents. Without them, I could accomplish nothing."

2nd Unit Director and Chief Blood Engineer. I decided that I wanted to get into the film when I saw James Cameron’s 1984 film “The Terminator.” The movie thrilled me. After that I became a movie nut. I have a nice collection of favorites and I plan on adding movies to it until the day I die. There are several other directors that have influenced me. Here are a few directors and their movies that have strongly inspired me. I love Stanley Kubrick’s work (A Clockwork Orange.) Steven Spielberg’s (Schindler’s List) Quentin Tarantino’s (Pulp Fiction) Kevin Smith’s (Clerks) and Martin Scorsese’s (Goodfellas) You know what, I could go on forever. There is no end to the movies or to the directors that have inspired me, and I hope that my work inspires one person as much as these guys have inspired me. I thank God that I met up with John Foutz. He has taught me a lot and we have become very good friends, and I look forward to a career with him. I’m currently writing a screenplay, and I have another to write when I finish it. I thank Hannah for letting me get involved with a terrific movie and I have learned a lot from helping her make her first. I just got engaged as you can see on the crew pg. to a girl that I have been with for a little more than two years. I love you Heather. Life is great and I am a very fortunate person.
