Brooke is the daughter of a lawyer. Her parents are still together, and her mom stays home. While Brooke is wealthy, she is certainly not snobbish. She is well-mannered, polite, and considerate, rather clueless to hierarchy and class structure (like a true, old-fashioned lady). Brooke met Arden at school in Trigonometry; he helped her study. Brooke fell for him because he was intelligent, hansome, and creative. She also loved his eyes. Brooke is an accomplished dancer. She loves pointe and lyrical dance and adores classical music. She has no idea what she really wants to do with her life. Brooke is a "good girl" and about as clueless to the violence of Arden's drug world as she is about class divisions. This can cause her to seem insensitive, even though she means well. Brooke is happy and optimistc; she likes to laugh and smile.
