Arden is an 18-year-old drug dealer who was pulled into the trade under the influence and supervision of his uncle Steven. Arden has idealized his uncle, whom he calls Steve, since he was a child and looks to him as a father-figure since he has basically no relationship with his dad. Arden's participation in drug traffic has been smooth until now. It has gotten him what he wants – money to burn, nice clothes, and a nice car. Artistic yet logical, Arden became interested in architecture in his high school art classes. He has applied to Cornel University and completed the process with the exception of the interview. Arden is tough but has a soft, caring side that emerges in the presence of his girlfriend Brooke Garrett. He is very much in love and would do anything for her. Arden is serious more than comical though he does know how to smile and joke. He has an explosive temper that surfaces at the most inopportune times. Though dealing is his life, Arden is not a heavy user. But he definitely enjoys the occasional joint.
